By submitting a photo image through the Algonquin College “AC Photo” Upload web site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with the image submission.

If you choose not to proceed, you will be required to visit the Card Services office at to have your photo taken and your student ID and OC Transpo U-Pass produced.

This Photo Upload web site is provided by the Card Services department of Algonquin College and its third party suppliers. We may update these terms and any changes will be effective immediately.

About your AC Card (student ID card)

The AC Card is the official ID card of Algonquin College and is managed by the Card Services office. The AC Card is the property of Algonquin College and its use is governed by the terms and conditions outlined on the Card Services website at www.algonquincollege.com/accard.

About your OC Transpo U-Pass (universal transit pass)

In 2014, the Algonquin Students’ Association sponsored a Universal Transit Pass Referendum asking students if they would support paying up to $199 per academic term in which they enroll (Fall, Winter, and Summer, as applicable), commencing in the 2015 Fall term, and then afterwards on a yearly basis. In March 2015 the U-Pass Agreement was formally signed with the City of Ottawa for the upcoming academic year starting in 2015 Fall. The cost of the U-Pass is $192.70 per term for the 2015/2016 academic year. The U-Pass will typically be charged annually in a student’s first term in an academic year (some exceptions apply). A U-Pass Administrative Fee of $4.18 will be charged once per academic year. For more information about the U-Pass, please visit www.algonquincollege.com/upass.

How we will use your photo image

The digital photo image that you submit via this website will be used to produce your AC Card and your U-Pass card.

Other uses of your image

By submitting this photo for your student ID you agree this photo may be used by Algonquin College Security Services.

Algonquin College does not guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the Photo Upload System. We cannot guarantee that this system will be compatible with any specific hardware or software. We reserve the right to suspend use or access to this system at any time, for any reason.

AC Card Policies
  • AC Cards (student ID cards) are the property of Algonquin College.
  • Lost cards must be reported to Card Services.
  • The card holder is responsible for the cost of a replacement card.
  • Do not lend your card to anyone for any purpose.
